Summer Pt. 1

Today is August 31st, summer is officially long and gone by now. Melancholy for those long, warm, sunny days in Florida is now the predominant feeling.

We flew in July 20th. Nothing feels as good as when your feet first touch the sand!

The view from the apartment takes my breath away every single time!

Not only during the day, but also during the night...

One of the most beautiful, talented and funnest girls i know came down to visit me all the way from Philly. We met while I was studying abroad in Boston and after a year of laughing, crying and sharing food, beds, clothes, we said our goodbyes. When we did, we decided we HAD to see each other before the summer of 2013 was over. Everything worked for our favor, and she was able to come down for 4 days. We didn't waste any time.

 Thats us in Hollywood Boulevard.

We goofed around and talked about everything life related.

We held feet because it felt perfectly normal to do so.

To say I miss this face is a complete understatement. I wish i could just shrink her and carry her around in my pocket!

After a few days we (my parents, sisters, and grandparents) drove across Florida to Marco Island, which is near Naples. It is one of the most amazing beaches i have ever been to in Florida. The view from our room made the beach impossible to resist. We unpacked as fast as we could, and headed towards the ocean.

The sun was about to set, which gives any picture the perfect light.

I collected little treasures along the coastline.

We stayed as long as the sun was out, and on our way back there was a Shell Washing Station. Americans think of everything!

Thankfully, only half of our trip had gone by. And the second half of the summer only got better!
